Business Bash

At the beginning of each semester, the BACC organizes a business fair, hosting the organizations we sponsor in addition to the professional-development and study abroad departments from the College of Business. Free food and drinks are available as students network with organization leaders and other business students.

Business Speakers

Throughout the academic year, BACC brings in the top names in business to give insightful presentations to our university.  Whether working with the business college or partnering with ACCENT, BACC organizes speeches from the best in the industry.  We are looking forward to co-hosting Mary Crane, a nationally recognized speaker and trainer, with ACCENT and the CRC.  She will be speaking about the challenges that currently exist in the multi-generational workforce.  She will be speaking in February.

Warrington Times

Warrington Times is a student-run publication poised to serve the unique needs of the students of Warrington Colege of Business Administration.  Articles range from the informative to the controversial.  We also include a calendar of business college events, news from our organizations, and special editorials written by prominent professors and alumni.  Please visit their website at www.warringtontimes.com

Council Meetings

BACC holds monthly meetings to cover the important issues in the business college.  The BACC executive board, presidents from each organization, and additional organization delegates convene to make announcements, discuss upcoming events, and vote on issues affecting business students.

Leadership Conference

BACC is excited to host the first annual UF Leadership Conference this year. This conference is intended to provide professional development opportunities for freshmen and sophomores looking to become student leaders.  Stay tuned for more information, including how to apply!

Training Sessions

BACC periodically holds training sessions to consult our organization leaders on such topics as effective programming, innovative marketing, and best financial practices.

Collaborative Events

Our Vice President of Administrative Affairs works to facilitate collaborative events among BACC organizations.  These groups find that they can save money, promote their events more effectively, and receive better turnout by teaming up to pool resources.
 Student Advocacy

The BACC Executive Board strives to be a liaison between business students, business organizations, and the administration to ensure everyone's voice is heard. They can give suggestions for improvement to the administration as well as relay important issues, changes, and news to students.
 Case Competition

BACC is working to provide and grow a campus-wide Case Competition that asks and encourages students to think analytically and problem-solve a relevant business case while working in a team in a fast-paced environment. This event can serve as an opportunity for students to put their classroom knowledge to work.

Committee Selection

Each Spring, BACC executive board recommends students to the dean's office for participation in WCBA committees.  Such committees include College Welfare Committee, Teaching Committee, and Undergraduate Programs Committee.
