On Tuesday, April 15, 2008, BACC Internal members voted to spin off from the "BACC" name and the council responsibilities to become "Business Gator Association," referred to as "Business Gators."  The change will come into effect at the end of Spring semester, and much of the transition work will be done over summer. 

 

Business Gators members are looking forward to the exciting changes ahead.  Many activities that BACC hosted will continue through to Business Gators, such as Faculty Lunch, Golf Tournament, Convention, socials, intramurals, and corporate presenters.  General members will not see a tremendous difference in what they knew as BACC, but they will notice more attention from executive board and improved, larger activities.  If you have any Business Gators questions, contact Amanda Janik at president@businessgators.com.

 

The new BACC will become a more traditional council, focused on the growth of the WCBA undergraduate student community.  The council will consist of an executive board of six individuals, a Warrington Times department, and representatives for different types of organizations.  If you have any questions about the new BACC, contact Dan Pepper at president@ufbacc.org.

The Business Administration College Council acts as the governing body for all student organizations of the Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida. We organize and sponsor student events, network with several top companies, act as the primary liason between the students, faculty, and administration of the Warrington College of Business, and volunteer our time in the Gainesville community.
